Raúl de la Fuente is an awarded Cinema Director and Scriptwriter. His storytelling is always about bringing beauty and meaningfulness to what’s in front of his camera. In 2015, Raúl de la Fuente’s film Minerita was shortlisted for the 88thOscars© Academy Awards as Best Short Documentary Subject. The film won in 2014 the Goya Award, Spanish Cinema Academy, for Best Short Documentary Film and it’s having an outstanding documentary career, with 45 International Awards and over 140 selections. His first feature film NÖMADAK TX (90’) was the most awarded Spanish documentary film at International film festivals in 2007 (17 prizes and more than 150 festivals). He is currently directing ANOTHER DAY OF LIFE, an animation film incorporating live action.
Amaia Remírez joins Kanaki Films in 2009 for the production of the animation film incorporating live action ANOTHER DAY OF LIFE. Previously, Amaia worked in producing programs and series for several production companies. Producer of MINERITA (2013), BLACK VIRGIN (2012), I AM HAITI (2014) and a documentary trilogy directed by Raúl de la Fuente about Haiti. Since 2009 she has also produced several documentaries and spots in Angola, Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mozambique and Qatar. Amaia Remírez is currently in charge of the Executive Production at Kanaki Films for the feature film "Another Day Of Life".
